Marked/Dalmatian Rats
Focus will be on dove and russian blue; black and mink will also be common, but are not the main focus. Markings such as variegated, bareback, capped, masked, and dalmatian are most common. Right now, this line has many agouti-based rats (russian blue agouti, russian cinnamon, etc), but I hope to breed away from that over time.
Black-Eyed Himilayan and Siamese
Colorpoint rats have always been a favorite of mine. Siamese are beige with dark points on the nose, feet, and rear end. Himilayans are white rats with less shading than the siamese. Over time I intend to focus primarily on himilayans, primarily in seal point.
Ear and Coat Types
I have standard coated rats as well as rexes. Occasionally I have harley rats, but they are not common at this point.I also have both standard and dumbo ears in most litters.

Welcome to Paper Heart Rattery!Located in Hope, NJ
Thanks for visiting! Whether you are new to rats or are a longtime rat owner, I hope that my site will provide some knowledge about these wonderful animals. My goal is to produce rats with great temperaments, health, color, and type. My rats are raised in my home with lots of love and attention. I am focused on improving the overall rat - I don't breed just for pretty markings or colors, I keep the whole rat in mind.
I am NARR (North American Rat Registry) registered as Paper Heart Rattery and my rats will all carry the prefix PH. I am happy to provide lifelong support for anyone that adopts a rat from me - and will ALWAYS take rats from my breeding back, no questions asked, if the owner is no longer able to keep them.
